Construction management platform

011h

( Context )

I design end-to-end digital products for the AECO sector. The 011h platform covers the full architectural process, from early design and cost estimation to contract management and execution planning, so teams can work more efficiently and together.

1 platformFrom cost estimation to procurement and construction
Construction still runs on spreadsheets, emails and phone calls. Every workflow that moves into the platform is one less place for information to get lost. The idea that guides the project
01

The challenge

Contracts and construction planning lived in spreadsheets and scattered files. Site teams lost time looking for information, and every manual step was a chance for errors.

02

Research

Drawing on my Building Engineering background, I interviewed site managers, project managers and procurement teams to understand how they really work on site and in the office.

03

Definition

I turned those real workflows into product requirements and restructured the navigation, so site teams can find key information without leaving the tool.

04

The solution

Guided in-platform processes for contracts and planning replaced the spreadsheets, and new features improve coordination between stakeholders while keeping a record of every decision.

( What changed )

Planning and contracts now live in the same place as the rest of the project, instead of in Excel files, email threads and folders of loose documents.

Traceability

Every date change is logged with its author and reason, and every planning task links to its signed contract. Anyone can see what changed, who changed it and why.

Fewer errors

Guided steps replace copy-pasting between spreadsheets. Data is entered once and reused across comparison, contract, purchase order and schedule, so there are fewer chances for human error.

One place

One source of truth for the whole team. No more hunting for the latest Excel version or the right attachment in someone’s inbox.

011h Builder: construction schedule for the Calonge project, with building areas on the left, tasks by week colour-coded by trade, a Today marker, and a side panel for the selected task showing its dates, trade, linked contract and change history
( Builder · Construction planning )The schedule is organised by building area and colour-coded by trade. Selecting a task shows its dates, subcontractor and signed contract in one panel, and every change to its dates is recorded with who made it and why. Saved versions of the plan can be compared side by side.
011h Procurement: a signed mobile crane rental contract with a progress bar from comparison to execution, a table of contract documents with references, types and toggles for inclusion, contract details and recent activity
( Procurement · Contract management )Each contract follows the same path, from comparison to signature and execution. Its documents are referenced, typed and ordered in one table, and a toggle sets which ones go into the final signed PDF. The activity log and the link to planning tasks keep the history in one place.

( Learnings )

On a building site, a tool doesn't compete with other software. It competes with the spreadsheet everyone already trusts.

How I'd measure success

AdoptionContracts and plans managed in the platform instead of spreadsheets
ErrorsFewer manual mistakes in contracts, orders and schedules
TimeMinutes for a site team to find the information they need
( Let's talk )Available for new projects
